About
Always learning and optimising.
MBChB (University of Auckland) · Radiologist, Brisbane, Australia
I've always believed in achieving more with one's time. As Derek Sivers' mentor put it: "the standard pace is for chumps" — by catering to everyone, the standard pace removes any potential for ambition.
I was Dux of Westlake Boys High School, finished medical school at The University of Auckland on multiple scholarships, and helped over 300 students get into medical school along the way. In 2024 I completed my radiology training, and I now work as a radiologist while building software products — particularly in the radiology and AI space.
Outside of medicine I run an e-commerce store, invest, and build tools and websites that scratch my own itches. This blog is where I've written since 2014 — about medicine, learning, productivity, public health and business.
The choice is yours as to how you use the extra time you create — achieving more academically, picking up new hobbies or side-hustles, or enjoying it with family and friends. Here's to living a fuller life!
